Common questions

Do I need my own gas cylinder?
Yes. GAZ2GO is an exchange service, so you need an empty 9kg cylinder to swop. Place your empty in the locker the machine opens, then collect a full one from the locker that opens next.
What size cylinders do you exchange?
9kg LPG cylinders. Our stations do not refill or decant gas — every swop is a sealed, full cylinder for your empty one.
How do I pay?
By card, at the machine. We accept VISA, Mastercard and Diners Club. Stations are unattended, so there is no cash facility.
When are stations open?
24 hours a day, seven days a week, including public holidays. Every station is self-service, so there is no closing time and no staff to wait for.
How long does a swop take?
Under two minutes. Tap "Swop Out" on the machine, accept the terms, tap your card, load your empty cylinder and close the locker, then collect your full cylinder.
Is it safe?
Every station is certified to SANS 10087-7 and operated by an LPGSA member. Units are weather-hardened and fitted with gas detectors, night cameras and fire suppression, and are monitored in real time through our VIMS system.
Do I need to register or join?
No. There is no membership and no booking. Bring an empty 9kg cylinder and a card.
